AH Marais Seuns (Pty) Ltd., a dealer in hardware and building materials in the Western Cape, has a vacancy available for a Branch Manager at their Worcester branch.

The Branch Manager will be responsible for effective leadership and execution of various sales and merchandising functions within the store, as well as maximising profitability and motivating teams to drive a customer-centric environment.

KPI’s will include: Customer Service: *Overseeing and managing various teams in the store *Enhancing customer experience by resolving queries and complaints *Ensuring sales teams have the required skills and product knowledge *Ensuring that visual displays are updated regularly and in line with seasonal trends. Sales: *Analysing reports & develop plans to improve performance *Analysing market trends and initiate strategies to improve sales. Expenses: *Monitor & control daily expenses *Analysing purchase reports against sales reports *Identifying slow moving stock and putting measures in place to enhance sales *Monitoring credit transactions. Stock control: *Monitoring stock-take procedures *Analysing negative stock level reports and investigating reasons *Implementing and maintaining security measures to prevent stock losses. General: *Ensuring occupational health and safety standards are met *Implementing all company policies and ensuring the adherence thereof *All other tasks related to the role.

Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:

• Matric required, a relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous;

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior management role within a similar retail business environment, with excellent product knowledge;

• Excellent strategic and planning skills;

• Strong team management and communication skills;

• Good computer literacy (MS Office);

• Valid driver's license.
