Philagro SA, a leading supplier of quality and innovative agricultural products, has the above-mentioned opportunity available for a highly analytical individual.
This role is based in either the Somerset West or Pretoria office and requires travel to site locations, and the Registrar’s Office.
The ideal candidate should have the ability to work independently, be extremely detail-oriented, prioritise accuracy, and be comfortable planning, organising, and managing multiple projects simultaneously. They must be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Responsibilities will include: *Compiling and submitting regulatory dossiers for agricultural remedies and fertilisers *Coordinating R&D projects and liaising with suppliers, contractors, researchers, and internal teams *Representing Philagro SA in CropLife working groups *Monitoring and communicating changes in MRLs, regulations, or industry risks *Engaging with regulatory authorities and industry stakeholders *Involved in product stewardship initiatives *All other tasks related to the role.
Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
• A relevant BSc qualification (MSc preferred);
• 5-8 years' experience in a regulatory and R&D project coordination role;
• Experience in compiling and submitting plant growth regulator, biorational and biostimulant dossiers will be beneficial;
• Knowledge of current guidelines and proposed changes to regulatory requirements for agricultural remedies;
• Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English);
• Valid driver’s license and own transport;
• Willingness to travel nationally.
