Novo Fruit Packers (a division of Dutoit Agri), a fruit packing & cooling facility situated in Paarl, has the above position available for a knowledgeable, reliable, and energetic individual with excellent communication skills and strong technical/mechanical aptitude.

The successful candidate will report to the Senior Manager: Pre-sorting, and be responsible for: *optimal setup of the production line *accurate execution of sorting instructions *management of production team (approximately 30 staff) *quality and output management *measurement and recordkeeping of outputs *maintenance of food safety systems (HACCP & BRC) *basic maintenance of machinery *all other tasks related to the position.

Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:

• Matric required, a relevant tertiary qualification in the electrical/mechanical field will be to the candidate's advantage;

• Relevant experience in a similar position in the fruit industry, or in an automated production environment will be advantageous;

• Good computer literacy (MS Office);

• Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English);

• Own reliable transport;

• Willingness to work hours as per industry seasonal requirements.
