Theddan Farms (Pty) Ltd., is a family owned farming operation based in the Elgin, Villiersdorp area, specializing in the production of pome fruit and wine grapes.

Our client has the above-mentioned position available for an organised individual with strong accounting knowledge and a meticulous approach to work, to join their team.

The position will be based on the farm in Villiersdorp.

The successful candidate will be responsible for: *compilation of monthly management accounts *managing debtors and creditors, bank reconciliations, monitoring cashflow *reconciliation of control accounts *handling of petty cash *processing of payments *VAT/SDL/UIF reconciliation, SARS e-filing and EMP 201's *reconciliation of diesel, petrol and chemical stock orders *salary payments *administration of pension fund and medical aid *management of employment benefits (gas, clothing and electricity usage) *compiling harvest reports & orchard data *all other tasks related to the role.

Essential minimum qualifications, skills, and experience:

• BCom degree in Accounting required, completion of CIMA articles advantageous;

• Minimum 3 years’ relevant accounting experience;

• Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English);

• Thorough computer literacy (MS Excel and accounting software);

• Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
