Our client, a successful Fruit Exporter based in Somerset West, is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator with excellent interpersonal skills. The ideal incumbent has the ability to work as part of a fun and energetic team, and can function effectively in a high paced environment.

The incumbent will report directly to the Logistics Manager. Duties will include: *Stock allocations *Loading instructions *Booking containers *Liaise with third parties to coordinate loading instructions *Update loading status *Finalise shipment details on ERP system *Generate and distribute documentation (addendums/packing lists/intakes) *Schedule transport *Handle client queries as required *Send shipment reports *Support the claims process *All other tasks related to the role.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:

• Relevant tertiary qualification;

• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role, specifically in the fruit export industry;

• Excellent computer literacy (specifically MS Excel, including the ability to work with formulas, such as Vlookup);

• Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English);

• Valid driver’s license.
