Our client, Patrysberg Group, has a position available for an experienced Production Manager with exceptional management and teambuilding skills, computer skills and an active interest in modern and technological farming practices. The successful candidate will be based in Citrusdal.

Duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to): *Responsible for the overall management of citrus orchards (+- 150 ha) *Overall management and control of production processes *Effective resources and cost management *Effective workforce management, including training and development *Recordkeeping and documentation pertaining to quality management and ethical processes *Plan and coordinate harvest schedules *Facilities management and maintenance *All other tasks related to this position.

Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:

• A relevant Agriculture-oriented tertiary qualification;

• Minimum 7 years’ of relevant and practical experience in citrus/fruit production;

• Well-developed computer and administration skills.
