Our client, Wine Training South Africa NPC, (a Non-Profit organisation dedicated to providing accredited and non-accredited training programmes in the South African wine industry), has a position available for a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join their team in Stellenbosch.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for strategic management, marketing, financial oversight, personnel management, and ensuring the successful delivery of both accredited and non-accredited training programmes.
Duties will include (but not limited to): *Training Programme Management (non-accredited): Update training materials annually (SKOP); Research and explore new training opportunities, and facilitate non-accredited training programmes *Training Programme Management (accredited): Coordinate the development of training material in collaboration with subject matter experts, facilitate training programmes, in line with QCTO and SETA requirements; Manage the assessment and moderation functions required by accreditation bodies; Arrange and manage internal and external moderations; Liaise with SDFs, employers, learners, and mentors to ensure smooth programme delivery; Oversee mentorship training and maintain constant communication with FoodBev SETA and QCTO; Manage all legal documentation, including contracts with employers, SETA, or QCTO *Liaise with Auditors and handle financial processes such as creditor payments and salary uploads via the Bank App *All other tasks related to this position.
Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:
• NQF 6 (or above) Winemaking qualification with 4 years experience in project management;
• Understanding of QCTO and SETA liaison and compliancy;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills;
• Able to work under pressure;
• Required to travel to remote training areas from time to time.
