Mouton Citrus, a leading citrus producer, packer, and exporter located in the Citrusdal valley, has an opportunity for the position of People Practices Manager to support their Production team. The successful candidate will be part of the production management team and report cross-functionally to the Head of People Practices. This role requires an individual with strong managerial, facilitation and execution skills. The incumbent has to be an excellent communicator and have high energy and drive. Duties include (but are not limited to): *Execute HR strategies and best practices within the Production Business Unit *Facilitate engagement with company culture and values *Implement industrial relations (IR) procedures and support the Workers Committee *Manage recruitment and onboarding processes for wage-level employees *Ensure legal compliance and adherence to policies and procedures *Support compliance for ethical audits *Report relevant people data to production managers *Oversee employee housing management and provide solutions *Support the HR team in areas related to Health & Safety, training, and compensation specific to the Production Business Unit *All other tasks related to the role. Essential qualifications, skills, and experience: • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources/Agriculture; • 5-8 years’ experience in a senior HR role; • Minimum 3-5 years’ HR experience in a fresh produce/production/packaging facility or similar; • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office, specifically Excel); • Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English); • Valid driver's license and own transport.
