D’Aria Wine Estate in the well-known Durbanville wine region, seeks to appoint a skilled Financial Manager. This output required for this role is the perfect match between finance, HR and Operations, and will support the GM in key decision-making. The ideal applicant is meticulous in his/her approach and act as a leader who can deliver and take full ownership of Financial Management of the Business, whilst assisting with operational tasks as needed. The Financial Manager will have full responsibility for the Financial function of the business ranging from the Farm, Cellar, Tasting Room, National and International Wine Sales, Hospitality Division with a 350 seater multi purpose venue, Guest Cottages and a Restaurant chain tenant. Duties will include (but not be limited to): *Strategic and Business Financial Planning *Financial Management and Reporting *Cash Flow Management *Statutory Returns and Compliance *HR and Payroll *Project Costings *Financial Risk Management *Ensure the availability, use, maintenance and development of internal Accounting procedures and best practices *Assist the GM with operational decision-making ranging from various projects, departments and stakeholders *Assist with cross-functional Corporate Services responsibilities with other departments *All other managerial and administrative functions related to the position. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • A relevant tertiary qualification (Degree in Accounting/Financial Management with completed articles); • 10 years’ post tertiary experience in a similar role; • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office, Evolution, EzyWine).
