Pure Legacy (Pty) Ltd, based in Southern Paarl, is in search of a proactive and dynamic Senior Grape Category Manager to join their growing team. The successful candidate will oversee the procurement and sourcing of high-quality table grapes in optimal quantities.

Essential skills for this position include strong interpersonal, organizational, technical grape, commercial, and negotiation abilities. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key to ensuring that the table grape category aligns with the company's financial and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities: *Cultivating strong relationships with table grape producers *Identifying and seizing procurement opportunities *Establishing mutually beneficial relationships with producers based on technical and quality specifications *Maintaining regular communication with producers, addressing quality issues, sharing reports, and presenting post-season statistics *Planning in accordance with harvest and sales estimates *Acting as a key liaison between internal departments for activities such as pack material selections, negotiations, and other relevant actions throughout the seasonal value chain *Updating client records *Supporting various commercial activities during the off-season, including exposure to sales and distribution *All other duties related to the role.

Requirements:
• Matric required, with a tertiary degree (BSc) in Marketing, Business, Commerce or Logistics preferred;
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a sourcing and procurement role, with a successful track record specifically in the Table Grape industry;
• Fluency in both Afrikaans and English;
• Willingness to travel and visit producers.
