Wine Chemical Solutions is a newly established business and supplier of specialty oenological products to the wine industry. The Directors of the business collectively have extensive experience within the wine and trade industries, and have an exciting position available for a dynamic and target-driven Junior Sales Consultant to assist in building and contribute to the success of the business.

A good understanding of oenology and production processes in the wine industry, paired with a customer-focused approach and excellent interpersonal skills (Afrikaans and English), is essential to the role.

The incumbent will be responsible for driving sales in the Western Cape. Duties will include: *Conducting market research to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends *Developing & implementing sales strategies in collaboration with the Directors *Identifying and pursuing new opportunities, expanding & maintaining client relationships *Using technical knowledge to assist clients in selecting products and solutions for their needs *Providing after-sales support to clients *Developing & maintaining in-depth knowledge of product range *Reporting to the Directors on sales & forecasts *all other tasks related to the role.

Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:
• Tertiary qualification in Oenology/Viticulture (completed or in the process of studying);
• Experience in a similar sales role in the wine industry or related sectors will be advantageous;
• Strong computer literacy (MS Office);
• Valid driver's license, willingness to travel, and work hours as per industry requirements.

In return, our client offers competitive remuneration, which includes a combination of basic salary & commission.

Commencement date: January 2025
