uniWines Vineyards, located in the beautiful Breedekloof wine region, has a position available for a dynamic and energetic Cellar Assistant to join their team. The ability to function well in a team and work well in a fast-paced environment is essential to the role. This position will be based at uniWines Goudini Cellar. The successful candidate will report to the Winemaker and be responsible for (but not limited to): *operating various machines and cellar equipment *inventory management and cellar administration *management of cellar staff *ensuring cellar hygiene complies with food safety systems *general cellar maintenance *all other duties related to the position. Essential qualifications, skills, and experience: • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a cellar environment; • Knowledge of pH Machine, Xflow filters, Flash and STS Centrifuge; • General winemaking knowledge; • Valid driver's license.
