Our client, Kromco (Pty) Ltd is one of the major role players in the pome (apple and pear) fruit industry, situated close to Grabouw. They are looking for a dynamic, energetic Marketing & Planning Coordinator to join the company in the Marketing department.

As the Marketing & Planning Coordinator, you will be responsible for the full support, coordination, administration and other tasks as required by the Marketing and Planning Manager of the company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for: *Assist with the annual, weekly and day-to-day planning of forecasted fruit received from the farms, cold stores, presort plants, packing/packhouse, overall marketing plan *Coordinate and manage export programs and trading activities alongside the Marketing Manager *Planning, executing packing, shipping, and documentation for client orders and programs *Act as the primary client interface, ensuring adherence to specifications with effective communication and excellent service *Manage program details such as simulations, forecasts, volume updates, and packing instructions to ensure timely delivery *Handle stock and order management, logistical planning, and coordination with internal departments *Innovate in IT systems, processes, packing formats, cost efficiencies, and client service enhancements *All other admin tasks related to this role.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
• Tertiary qualification in Industrial Engineering, Commerce or similar;
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role;
• Experience in the export industry, fresh produce industry or similar will be an advantageous;
• High level of understanding of stock management, IT and financial systems;
• Excellent computer literacy (MS Office, specifically Excel);
• Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English);
• Valid driver’s license and own transport;
• Willingness to work outside of normal hours as per industry requirements.
