PB Liquor Merchants, situated in Paarl has an exciting opportunity available for a motivated Financial Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in the world of finance. As a Financial Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals in our finance department. You will assist with accounting, financial analysis, data entry, budgeting, and other key tasks that will provide you with valuable insights into the inner workings of the organization. Duties will include (but not limited to): *Assist with financial reporting and analysis *Conduct research and gather data for various financial projects *Help prepare financial statements and reports *Support budgeting and forecasting activities *Collaborate with team members on ad-hoc financial projects *All other financial tasks related to the role. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • A relevant tertiary qualification (N6 Financial Management or related field); • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software is a plus; • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously; • Excellent communication skills (English and Afrikaans).
