Our client, Bridgesure, with it‘s office based in the Helderberg area, is recruiting for a dynamic & client-focused individual to join their team as Commercial Insurance Broker partly-based at either of the Durbanville or Strand Office, (not fully office based).

Bridgesure‘s core business is leading & guiding it‘s clients to provide for in-house tailored insurance aligned to the risk profile & other elements of the insured client.

This is an ideal position for a knowledgeable insurance specialist with the needed energy, vision & ambition to build a successful career within our client’s relatively new business. This unique opportunity is complemented by being part of a new but rapidly growing business, founded by visionary leaders in the industry.

Duties will include: *prospect for new clients through networking & canvassing *communicate effectively with internal stakeholders & existing clients *conduct comprehensive risk evaluations for clients *sell insurance products tailored to client needs *draft, track, & measure personal business plan *provide ongoing service & support to clients (amendments, renewals, claims) *retain existing business & discuss renewals in accordance with FAIS *develop relationships with internal & external clients *build client-base to secure future income *stay updated on changes in the commercial insurance market *provide feedback to management as required *attend weekly & adhoc team meetings *collaborate with underwriting, actuarial, claims, & surveying teams *adhere to quality standards & measures.

Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:
• Matric required;
• Minimum 2 years‘ insurance sales experience;
• FAIS credits/Full Insurance qualifications (depending on Dofa);
• RE5 (depending on Dofa);
• Experience with Heavy Motor Vehicle (HVC) insurance will be beneficial;
• Valid driver’s license & own reliable transport (remote working, but office meetings will be required as needed).
