Winemaker/General Manager Grande Provence, located in the picturesque Franschhoek Valley, has the abovementioned opportunity for an experienced person with extensive winemaking, management and marketing expertise. A relevant tertiary qualification, proven management experience, extensive experience of the wine production process as well as the marketing of top brands in the wine industry (national and international) are requirements for this position. The General Manager reports directly to the Directors and is responsible for the overall management function, including the following duties: • production management and winemaking • operational management • marketing and sales of all products • overall financial and budgetary management • personnel management • general management and all other duties that are normally associated with this position.
