Our client, RJ Agente (Pty) Ltd, a representing Agent for DHL Express, South Africa, servicing the Boland region, is looking for a Customer Services Agent to join their team in Paarl!

Duties will include (but not limited to): *Providing the full suite of DHL Customer Service offerings confidently, knowledgeably & professionally (e.g. booking, enquiries, shipment status, tracking, etc.) to all parties contacting DHL via Email & telephonically *Play an active role as Customer centric culture ambassador in creating the first positive impression in carrying the DHL brand’s image & proactively assist customer in resolving their issues *Adhere to the Centre of Excellence (COE) standards & guidelines in daily operations to ensure highest standard of quality and efficiency *Exhibit highest level of expertise in performing day-to-day function & task demonstrating high-level customer experience skill within the team *Offer alternatives to customers & seize upselling & cross-selling opportunity of valued added services during interaction with customer *Respond to customers consistently & confidently by providing accurate information in all areas such as customs requirements, transit time & quotations *Enhance service experience in DHL by exercising professionalism & empathy when dealing with each individual customer is varying needs & demands *Liaise with Operations & other departments for quick & efficient resolution of customer issues & queries *Achieving “Best Day Every Day” demonstrating DHL Express four attributes: Speed, Can Do, Right First Time and Passion.

Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:
• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role;
• Strong passion for continuously delivering a superior customer experience;
• Exhibits an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, resourcefulness & empathy;
• Well- developed relationship skill and ability to network with multiple levels of an organization & other business units;
• Excellent in telephone skills, conflict resolution skills, negotiation & interpersonal skills;
• Technical Skills (Shipment Track & Trace Systems & Order Booking systems preferable);
• Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English).
