Description:
Our client, an entity with an aesthetic approach to holistic interior design, is looking to appoint a detail-orientated Accountant and Office Manager, with excellent problem-solving and good communication skills, paired with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the bookkeeping and administration of more than one entity owned by the owner. You will be a full-time staff member and must be comfortable and competent working standalone and on various levels.

Tasks will range from basic admin support and bookkeeping, monthly accounting functions and management reporting, to liaising with clients and service providers, stock management and supporting the owner in business decision making and execution.

Minimum requirements:
• Matric required, a relevant tertiary accounting or business administration qualification will be advantageous;
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role;
• Knowledge of interior design industry advantageous;
• Excellent computer literacy (MS Office Suite, Xero, Canva);
• Own reliable transport.

Position based in Paarl, Western Cape.

This is an on-site role, with the opportunity to work remotely. It is expected of the candidate to have at least three office days a week, depending on the workload.
