Villiera Wines in Koelenhof, situated near Stellenbosch, has a career opportunity for a driven, organised, diligent and hardworking individual to join the team as Wine Warehouse Manager. The sucessful incumbent will be responsible for stock in all company and third party warehouses. Responsibilities will include: *Management of warehouse and despatch teams *Receiving and despatching of stock and dry goods *Stock control and ensuring proper record keeping is in place *Ensuring proper processes and procedures are followed *All SAWIS and stock administration required for movement of stock between bonded warehouses *Responsibility for the maintenance and upkeep of the warehouses, warehouse vehicles and delivery vehicles *Working with and maintaining quality and safety standards (BRC, IFS) within the warehouse *all other tasks related to the role. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • Matric; • At least 5 year’s experience in a similar role with the ability to manage and motivate a team; • Knowledge of SAWIS and compliance regulations; • Excellent communication skills (English and Afrikaans); • Excellent computer literacy (MS Excel required), knowledge of SAGE will be advantageous; • Willingness to work overtime when required; • Own reliable transport.
