Oldenburg Vineyards, an established wine brand situated on the outskirts of Stellenbosch, is looking to appoint a Logistics & Export Manager. The position will suit an organised individual with strong planning and communication skills. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for managing the main warehouse, as well as rented warehouse spaces offsite and abroad. Responsibilities will include: *export sales orders acceptance and communication with local and international clients *liaison with freight forwarders, couriers & transporters *stock management, including dry goods *procurement of stock *sales forecasting *processing of orders and invoices in different currencies *handling export logistics of local & international orders *managing production flow and maximizing output with outstanding planning while ensuring excellent quality *monitoring labelling of wine *all aspects regarding the handling of export documentation *understanding of SAWIS & customs *SAWIS & SARS monthly recons *manage & supervise warehouse staff *all other tasks related to the position. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • Matric required, a relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous; • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role in the wine industry; • Knowledge of SAWIS and compliance regulations; • Excellent computer literacy (MS Excel & Wine Online); • Experience in workflow designs or creation of a logistics system or process will be advantageous; • Own reliable transport.
