Chroni-Co, situated outside Paarl, Western Cape, is seeking the services of a QA Manager & Responsible Pharmacist. The ideal individual is a self-motivated individual, who is extremely organised, and has the ability to build excellent relationships with peers and other stakeholders. The main purpose of the role is to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, including Act 101 of 1964, Pharmacy Act 53 of 1973 and SAHPRA guidelines. Duties will include: *Implementing corrective measures related to inspection reports of SAHPRA/Medicines Act *Manage quality compliance by maintaining local SOP’s *Oversee management of daily quality activities *Liaise with regulatory authorities *Provide pharmaceutical support in decision making processes *Maintain license with relevant regulatory authorities *Oversee customer complaints and product recall processes *Maintain the site master file *Responsible to SAHPRA for any act performed by, or on behalf of the company, including omissions *Apply for, manage and reconcile permits for the trade in narcotics *All other tasks related to this position. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • Relevant Tertiary qualification (B.Pharm); • Registered Pharmacist with the SAPC; • Minimum 5 years’ experience within the Pharmaceutical Industry; • Deep understanding of the Pharmaceutical Regulatory environment; • Extensive QA experience essential; • Knowledge of cGMP & EU GMP regulations and Regulatory Requirements; • Experience working with QMS Systems; • Excellent computer literacy.
