Tokara Wine & Olive Estate is in search of a Tasting Room Manager for their Wine Lounge. The successful candidate is an energetic, independent and highly driven individual, with good interpersonal and proven leadership skills. Duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to): *Manage and ensure a professional, efficient, and warm guest experience *Uphold and share the passion and knowledge of the brand and offerings *Manage administrative functions, including stock takes, staff administration, bookings and cash-ups *Ensure all guest queries are handled professionally and promptly *Adhere to company and departmental policies and procedures *Motivate team to meet sales goals and targets *Manage opening and closing procedures *Ensure that the Tasting Room is staffed during opening hours and is maintained to standards *Attend shows, events, and other brand representation requirements *All other tasks related to this position Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • Minimum 5 years’ hospitality management experience; • Strong verbal and written communication skills; • Impeccable attention to detail, multitasking and planning abilities; • Ability to work weekends, public holidays as per industry requirements; • Must have confidence in team collaboration, creative problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
