Our client, a group based in the Boland area and operating in the wine industry, has the above exciting opportunity available for a dynamic, hands-on Manager with excellent communication and influencing skills, and a proven track record of successful negotiations, to expand market presence within the Asian, African & local markets. The position plays a crucial role in establishing strategic partnerships, developing & executing market entry strategies, fostering relationships with distributors & retailers, & ensuring effective brand positioning. The incumbent will report to the Head of Sales & Marketing, and KPA’s will include: *Sales: Establishing sales objectives, formulating strategies to obtain international sales objectives, market analysis, identifying sales growth opportunities with existing & potential clients, negotiating sales agreements.*Client Servicing: Coordinating & expediting sales orders, ensure excellent service and development of long-term relationships in relevant markets & ongoing evaluation of the international sales network, conduct client visits.*General Management: Providing input to annual sales budget, managing & controlling department costs in line with budget, monthly management reporting. *Promotions: Development of promotional material for relevant international markets, supervision of the execution of local promotional activities, participation in national & international wine shows. *All other ad hoc tasks related to the position. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • Diploma/Degree in Marketing or Business; • Approximately 8 years' experience in an international sales environment within the wine industry, as well as senior B2B consultative sales experience (with at least 2 years’ in a managerial capacity); • Knowledge of the international wine industry & buying environment; • Excellent computer skills (MS Office); • Willingness to travel nationally & internationally; • Willingness to work outside of standard business hours as required.
