Our client, situated in the Hexrivier Valley (De Doorns), has the above position available for a proactive and hands-on Production Manager with strong leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will report to the Exco Chairman and will be responsible for the overall management of table grape units (± 100 ha in total) situated in De Doorns. The duties will include: *Overall management and control of production processes *Effective resources & cost management *Effective workforce management, including training & development *Recordkeeping and documentation pertaining to quality management and ethical processes *Plan and coordinate harvest schedules *Facilities management & maintenance *All other tasks related to this position. Essential qualifications, skills, and experience: • Matric, relevant tertiary qualification in Agriculture will be advantageous; • Proven track record in the production of table grapes; • Approximately 7 years’ experience in a similar role in the table grape industry; • Knowledge of relevant quality systems and audit processes; • Strong computer skills (MS Office, especially Excel); • Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English); • Valid driver’s license.
