As the Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our local and international market presence. Duties will include: *Oversight of relationships with existing importers across various countries *Effective management and coordination of activities within the South African market *Proactively identifying and developing new markets to expand the brand's global reach *Collaborating with importers, distributors and retailers to set forecasts, sales targets, and tailored marketing strategies for each sales channel *Working with the marketing team to build brand awareness *Regularly reviewing and evaluating importer performance in line with business objectives *Conducting regular market research to identify customer preferences, emerging trends and opportunities *Representing the brand at local and international wine shows and reporting industry insights back to the company *Overseeing volumes and vintages to maintain product consistency and meet market demands *Generating and presenting monthly sales reports and budgets *Proactively developing innovative new strategies in an ever-changing market *All other tasks related to this position. Essential qualifications, skills, and experience: • Matric required, a tertiary qualification will be advantageous; • Minimum 5 years' FMCG experience, specifically in wine industry key accounts management; • Excellent interpersonal skills (Afrikaans & English); • Excellent computer literacy (MS Office); • Own reliable transport.
