Our client, Bellevue Wine Estate, situated on the Bottelary road in Stellenbosch, is looking to appoint a Financial & Human Resource Manager. This position requires a meticulous approach from a leader who can deliver accurate activity reports with monthly accounting, whilst understanding and managing the mid- and long-term financial indicators as well plan, direct and coordinate policies concerning the personnel, and industrial relations activities. The Financial & HR Manager will have full responsibility for the Accounting and HR functions of the business - duties will include (but not be limited to): Finance: *Strategic and Business Financial Planning *Financial Management and Reporting *Cash Flow Management *Statutory Returns and Compliance *Project Costings *Financial Risk Management *Ensure the availability, use, maintenance and development of internal Accounting related IT, ERP and MIS technological solutions, Human Resources: *Ensure work contracts are up to date and in place *Manage all types of leave in the system for employees *Management of the Employment Equity forum *Assist the Farm Manager with Shop Steward meetings *Arrange disciplinary hearings *Ensure all HR Policies and Procedures are in place *Management of Innovation and Self Development *All other managerial and administrative functions related to the position. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • A relevant tertiary qualification (Degree in Accounting/Financial Management with completed articles); • 3 years post article experience (previous wine industry will be advantageous); • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office, Evolution, Wine MS).
