Our client, a wine estate situated in the Stellenbosch wine region, has a position available for an experienced and reliable General Manager with strong leadership capabilities and a passion for the hospitality industry. This position is suited to an individual with a service excellence mindset that can set and implement high standards for service-delivery. Responsibilities include: • Tasting room team management (team of 16); • Managing the tasting room front and back of house; • Managing all other tourism facilities I.e conferences, on-site events, sales, additional offerings; • All administrative duties related to the role. Minimum Requirements: • Tertiary qualification/practical training in Hospitality; • Practical experience in a similar managerial role in the hospitality industry; • Wine knowledge will be advantageous; • Fully bilingual (English & Afrikaans); • Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
