Our client, an accounting firm situated in Paarl has the above-mentioned position available. The ideal candidate is a detailed orientated individual with the ability to work accurately under pressure.

Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for all duties related to financial accounting, including the collection, processing, recording, reconciliation and reporting of financial data. The role will include maintaining complete and proper records of revenue, expenditure, assets and liabilities, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information.

Key performance areas will include: *Capturing source data *Accounting until trial balance *Reconciliation of accounting records to third party statements *VAT and other relevant statutory returns *Fee invoice generation *Management of accounts *All other tasks related to the role.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting with completed articles(CIMA/SAIPA);
• Minimum 2- 3 years’ experience in a similar role;
• Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English);
• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office);
• Experience with Payroll, VAT & EMP501 reconciliations will be beneficial;
• Driver’s license & own reliable transport.
