Our client, a successful fruit export company based in Paarl, has a vacancy for a driven and dynamic individual with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to join their team. Duties will include: • Procurement of fruit for the export market; • Price negotiations with growers and packhouses; • Product, prices, and price list administration; • Inventory planning to accurately support demand forecasts; • Develop and maintain procurement systems, processes, and procedures. The successful candidate will ideally be based in the Gauteng, Limpopo, and Mpumalanga areas. Candidates from other areas are welcome to apply. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • Matric required, a relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous; • 5 years' experience in a similar role with a proven track record; • Experience in the exportation of fruit would be advantageous; • Excellent computer literacy (MS Office, specifically MS Excel); • Valid driver’s license and own transport; • Willingness to travel as required.
