Ashton Winery, situated in the picturesque Robertson wine valley and known for their superior wines, has the abovementioned position available for a Wine: Brand Ambassador with excellent wine knowledge to join their team.

This exciting position is ideally suited for an energetic individual with experience in a fast-paced environment paired with a passion for wine.

The successful candidate will be responsible for: *managing day-to-day operations (wine tasting and tourism facilities) *maintaining destination image in line with company brand *overseeing effective and accurate stock management *communicating and coordinating with other departments (marketing, sales, cellar, admin & finance) *trade visits to service and grow the existing on- and off consumption customer base *handling customer queries and complaints *managing logistics for online sales and wine club *creating and coordinating social media content for the Cellar Brand *managing client database *managing entries for wine competitions *representing the company at wine festivals, shows, private tastings and all other external sales and marketing events *managing the tasting room and implementing strategy to increase sales *all other tasks related to the position.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar role;
• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Pastel Point of Sale);
• Excellent interpersonal skills (English & Afrikaans);
• Valid driver’s license;
• Willingness to work holidays and weekends (as and when needed).
