POSITION BASED IN EASTERN CAPE

Habata, one of SA’s leading producers of fresh fruit and vegetables, has the above two positions available for energetic individuals with excellent problem-solving and leadership skills to join their growing team.

These positions are ideal for individuals looking for an opportunity to grow within the company.

The successful candidates will report to the Production Manager and will be responsible for assisting in the overall management of fruit production units situated in Kirkwood & Addo, including: *Overall management and control of production processes in collaboration with the Production Manager *Assisting with workforce management, discipline, coordination, training & development*Recordkeeping and documentation *Assisting with relevant facilities management & maintenance.

Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Agriculture;
• Practical fruit farming experience & knowledge of relevant quality systems advantageous;
• Strong computer skills (MS Office, especially Excel);
• Afrikaans & English (isiXhosa will be highly beneficial);
• Valid driver’s license.

Commencement date: November/December 2023
