Habata, one of SA’s leading producers of fresh fruit and vegetables, has a position available for a Financial Manager/Senior Accountant with a systematic and analytical approach to work, as well as excellent financial acumen and the ability to work accurately under pressure. The incumbent will primarily be based at the office situated in Addo. The successful candidate will report to the Financial Director and be responsible for: *Monthly management reporting *Cost analysis & reporting *Verification, reconciliation and payment of creditors *Invoicing and management of debtors *Processing transactions and journals *Wages and related personnel administration *Upkeep of the asset register *Insurance administration *Audit preparation *Support the production, packhouse and quality departments with financial record keeping and system implementation *all other functions related to the position. Essential qualifications, skills, and experience: • Diploma/Degree in Accounting & completed articles (SAIPA/SAICA/CIMA); • Approximately 1-2 years’ relevant post-article experience; • Experience in the agricultural industry advantageous; • Strong computer literacy, specifically advanced Excel skills; • Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English); • Own reliable transport.
