Our client, a successful fruit export company based in Paarl, has a vacancy for a Financial Manager. The ideal candidate should be able to perform the full financial function of the company, and have a strong accounting background. A detail orientated manager, with the ability to lead and mentor a team, are further characteristics of the ideal incumbent. Duties will include: • Full cashbook, debtors and creditors processing; • Preparation of Management accounts; • Finalising all accounts up to audit level; • Monthly tax returns (EMP’s and VAT); • Payroll; • Grower advances and final payments; • Foreign currency management; • Credit insurance management; • Cashflow management & planning. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • Qualification in accounting (SAIPA, SAICA or CIMA articles preferred); • 5 years' experience in a similar role in the fruit export industry; • Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English); • Experience in software such as Microsoft Business Central (NAV), Sage Payroll Professional and Excel.
