Our client, a commercial egg layer farm in the Kraaifontein area, has a position available for an Assistant Farm Manager. The ideal candidate for this position is a hands-on and practically-oriented individual. The successful candidate will report to the Farm Manager and be responsible for all tasks relating to a commercial egg layer farm. Duties will include (but not limited to): *effective management of daily farming activities *maintaining of safe working practices *effective managing of Labour component *ensuring the welfare of livestock *all other tasks related to this position. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • Matric required, tertiary qualification in Farming Management will be advantageous; • Approximately 3-5 years' experience in a similar role; • Agricultural work experience will be to the candidates advantage; • Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English); • Strong computer literacy (MS Office); • Valid Driver's license.
