Aan de Doorns Wine Cellar, situated in the Worcester Wine Region, has a position available for a dynamic, well organised individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to work accurately under pressure. This position is ideal for someone that prefers variety in work tasks and is adept at multi-tasking. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: Marketing & Wine Sales: *Liaison with agents for wine sales and distribution nationally *All image building exercises (from the look of the tasting room to the label on the bottle) *Wine tastings and sales *Responsible for wine shows and festival entries *Coordinating of venue bookings and hiring enquiries; Cellar Administration: *SAWIS administration *Assisting with payments and invoices; Stock and Order Administration: *Placing of orders *Monthly Bottle Wine Stock Control; Finance: *Invoicing and credit notes on Pastel *Statement reconciliation *All ad hoc tasks related to the position. Essential qualifications, skills, and experience: • Matric required, a relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous; • Approximately 2 years’ relevant experience in a similar position, wine industry experience advantageous; • Social media experience will be beneficial; • Thorough numeracy and administrative skills; • Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English); • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office); • Own reliable transport.
