Riebeek Valley Wine Co., situated in the picturesque Riebeeck Kasteel, Western Cape, has an exciting new role available for a client-oriented, process driven individual with an excellent understanding of logistics processes and related timelines. The position will be based on the premises of Riebeek Valley Wine Co.’s services cellar. A driven, proactive disposition with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English to liaise with overseas and local clients are further requirements for the role. The successful candidate will report to the CEO and primarily be responsible for managing all operational aspects of the RVWC logistics team, focused on logistics and bottled goods warehousing for RVWC and its clients. Duties will include: *manage all operational aspects of the RVWC Services team focussed on logistics and bottled goods warehouse for RVWC and its clients *manage all the bottlings and labels for the company and clients (onsite and offsite), price negotiations with suppliers and procurement of dry goods *manage all stock on site and external warehouses *maintain solid relationships with the key clients of RVWC Services and to develop relationships with potential new clients *grow RVWC Services business by attracting new clients *managing lead-times to key client timelines through regular liaison with all relevant internal & external production teams *coordinating logistics and export related duties *all other tasks relevant to the position. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • A tertiary qualification in Sales/Marketing/Production or similar will be advantageous; • Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in the wine industry working with clients and workflow/process design; • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office).
