Namaqua Wines, based in Vredendal, currently has a position available for a dynamic Production Controller (Bottling) to join their team. The ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal skills (Afrikaans and English) and the ability to perform well in both team context and individually. Duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to): *planning &procurement of non perishables *management of packaged goods *planning and scheduling of wine for bottling *managing the bottling budget *personnel management *ensure all processes adhere to FSSC and HACCP prerequisites *daily measurement of production outputs *all other functions related to the position. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Food Science, Production Management or similar OR Technician with extensive production experience within a beverage packaging plant; • At least 5 years' experience in a similar role; • Excellent computer proficiency (EzyWine/Wine MS); • FSSC 22000, HACCP and GMP experience; • Willingness to travel and work overtime when required, especially during harvest season.
