Our client, a wine farm situated in Stellenbosch, is seeking a skilled and results-oriented Sales and Marketing Manager with exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, and a proven track record of delivering outstanding results. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth in local and international markets to enhance the growth of their four brands. The incumbent will be responsible for: *managing the sales & marketing team*conducting market research relating to trends, customer needs, competition *developing & executing sales and marketing plans *liaison with other departments regarding events and social media requirements, and collaborating on sales & marketing initiatives for the four brands *social media strategy & performance reporting *providing support on content creation and final approval on social media content *overseeing the implementation of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital marketing, advertising, events, and public relations *ensuring that sales and merchandising support is delivered to relevant channels *key accounts management *diversifying revenue streams from different on- and off trade channels *handling tasks related to logistics, export, and importation *managing newsletters & wine clubs *website management and updates *representation the brand at events with or on behalf of Winemaker *all other tasks related to the position. Essential qualifications, skills, and experience: • Diploma or Degree in Sales/Marketing Management or a related field; • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role in both the marketing and sales of wine in the South African market; • Knowledge of social media and consumer engagement platforms; • Excellent computer literacy (MS Office); • Valid driver's license.
