NexusAG, with its head office in Paarl, is a leading provider of agricultural crop solutions to optimise healthy crops and contribute to food security. NexusAG currently has the above vacancy for a dynamic and organised individual with a combination of well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, as well as proven plant nutrition knowledge to join their team. Furthermore, the candidate must have strong administrative skills with the ability to work accurately and thoroughly, whilst being able to perform under pressure. An appropriate qualification and minimum 3-5 years' work experience are the minimum requirements for this position. Excellent financial and computer skills (SAGE, MS Office –Excel and PowerPoint specifically), knowledge of plant nutrition products and the application thereof in integrated programmes are further requirements. A diploma/degree in Logistics and previous experience in a similar position in the agricultural sector will be to the candidate's advantage. The successful candidate will report to the Commercial Manager - Plant Nutrition and responsibilities will include, among others: • Maintaining excellent customer- and supplier relationships; • Monitoring inventory levels in comparison with budget; • Handling of inventory purchase administration and related transportation arrangements; • Managing inventory distributions and allocations; • Keeping track of product information on the system; • Keeping track of prices and price list administration; • Ensure that the procurement function, together with logistics operations regarding products, runs effectively; • Maintenance of procurement systems, processes and procedures, as well as relevant reporting.
