NUY Winery, situated just outside of Worcester in the scenic NUY Valley (Breede Valley) has a position available for a Financial Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and qualified Accounting professional who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will report to the CEO and will be responsible for: *full financial accounting function, including daily operational finance (transactional) *stock management, valuations, and inventory cost controls *management of debtors, creditors and banking functions *monthly reporting to the CEO *reconciliation of bank statements, control accounts and other account queries *managing the budgeting process and ensure financial responsibility towards annual targets *providing management accounts pack to the Board of Directors and CEO *processing weekly wages and ensure monthly compliance with statutory requirements *liaison with external auditors and other financial institutions *all ad hoc financial functions related to the position. Essential qualifications, skills, and experience: • BCom Accounting degree or similar tertiary qualification; • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar position; • Excellent computer literacy (MS Excel required, Pastel beneficial); • Experience in the wine industry & SAWIS will be to the candidate's advantage.
