NUY on the Hill, based just outside of Worcester on the R60 (NUY valley), is seeking to appoint a Chef with experience in managing a kitchen and restaurant, whilst enjoying the pressures of a fast-paced, tourism-driven, sit-down restaurant. The successful candidate will report to the Owner and will be responsible for: *menu planning and costing of meals in conjunction with management *sourcing and procurement of products to ensure optimal stock levels *preparing of all meals at a high standard (including baking) *management of kitchen staff and related employee relations *ensuring a work environment that complies with relevant safety, quality and service delivery standards *all other tasks related to the role. Essential qualifications, skills, and experience: • Relevant tertiary culinary arts, hospitality or catering qualification; • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar role; • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office); • Own reliable transport.
