Robertson Winery (Pty) Ltd, with its marketing department based in Stellenbosch, currently has the above opportunity for a dynamic individual with excellent leadership and organisational skills paired with the ability to communicate and engage effectively on all levels. The position will be based at the office in Stellenbosch or Johannesburg. The incumbent will be responsible for (but not limited to): *managing the RW Trade Marketing team situated in Western Cape, Gauteng, KZN and PE *in-the-trade relationship management with top selling customers and representatives *effective development and implementation of trade marketing strategies in order to build brand awareness and support sales *management of trade marketing budgets *implementation of specific distribution drives *effective use of information available to close gaps, increase distribution and grow sales *strategic management & development of current & emerging markets *collaborating with Sales team to develop effective trade promotions and brand activations *conduct market analysis and stay up to date with industry trends to identify opportunities for growth and develop actionable strategies *monitor and analyse sales performance, market share, and competitive activities to make data-driven recommendations for business improvement *working in collaboration wit the Marketing team to ensure trade marketing initiatives align with overall brand strategies and objectives *all other tasks related to the position. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: • A relevant diploma/degree; • Approximately 5 years' relevant experience in fast moving consumer goods (Sales or Trade Marketing), including in a management capacity; • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful trade marketing strategies; • Experience with key accounts advantageous; • Excellent computer literacy (MS Office); • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly to various regions within South Africa.
