This exciting position is ideally suited for a passionate, dedicated, and reliable individual with experience in managing a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for: *managing all day-to-day operations (wine tasting and tourism facilities) *guiding overall high standard of service delivery *ensure tidiness, maintenance, and repairs of Tasting Room *maintaining destination image in line with company brand *managing Tasting Room staff, including HR policies and procedures *overseeing effective and accurate stock management (including policies and procedures, stock counts and stock levels both wine & food) *communicating and coordinating with other departments (marketing, sales, cellar, admin & finance) *handling customer queries and complaints *managing logistics for online sales and wine club *organising and managing onsite events *all other functions related to the position. Essential minimum qualifications, skills, and experience: • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar role; • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office, EzyWine); • Excellent interpersonal skills (English & Afrikaans); • Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle; • Willingness to work holidays and weekends (rotation schedule). Advantageous: • Relevant qualification in wine (WSET level 2/Cape Wine Academy certificate); • Ability to understand and speak foreign languages.
