Haute Cabrière, based in Franschhoek, has an exciting opportunity for a target-driven, business-minded individual with excellent leadership and interpersonal skills (English) to join their hospitality team as Hospitality Manager. The ideal candidate has strong budget development and oversight skills, and the ability to manage hospitality operations and customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for: *liaising with managers, staff, and vendors*developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance protocols *improving efficiency of existing processes and procedures *ensuring that operational activities remain on time and within budget *tracking of staffing requirements & recruiting new employees as needed *leading and motivating a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment *managing data collection for the updating of metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service*partnering with cross-functional teams to improve proprietary tools and systems*collaborating with legal and safety departments to ensure that activities remain compliant*overseeing materials and inventory *managing budget reviews and cost plans *all other tasks related to the position. Essential qualifications, skills, and experience: • Matric required, relevant tertiary qualification advantageous; • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry; • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office), knowledge of business productivity software, and an aptitude for learning new applications; • Own reliable transport.
