Robertson Winery (Pty) Ltd, situated in the Robertson Wine Valley, currently has the abovementioned position available for someone with management skills, good human relationships, excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to perform excellent under pressure. A post-matric qualification, 8 to 10 years’ experience in a similar position as well as sound knowledge of bottling and winemaking procedures, are further requirements for the post. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: • management of cost-effective production processes within certain deadlines • drafting of and adjustments to production and time schedules • maintaining optimal stock levels • ensure the manufacturing of high quality products • implementing quality systems • applying health and safety guidelines, in accordance with legislation • drafting and management of production budgets • coordinating maintenance of all machinery and equipment • liaising with other departments in order to reach production goals • management and motivation of staff • identifying training requirements and performance evaluation of all subordinates • manage contract work • all other ad hoc tasks relating to the position.
