Our client in the Fintech industry is looking for an IT Support Generalist and Integration Specialist based onsite at their Stellenbosch office. The successful candidate will take responsibility for support IT functions that impact client relationships directly and need quick turnaround times. The responsibilities may extend to involvement in more than one focus area, for example support, initiation of integrations of Billers and Payment Networks, weekend IT- Support shift work, ad hoc report generation through own designed and modified SQL scripts and monitoring of transaction irregularities in the value chain from Payment Network to Biller. Role responsibilities: *Supporting and monitoring of the Biller Integrations *Participating in various IT integration functions *Weekend IT Support work (on a roster rotation basis) *Ad Hoc report generation using SQL *Monitoring of transaction irregularities in the value chain *Risk & issue management *Participating in continuous improvement processes *and any other relevant duties related to the role. Essential requirements: • Tertiary IT qualification; • Approximately 3 years' experience in a similar role, including experience in SQL, IT Systems monitoring, MS Office suite (specifically MS Excel), and customer support; • Experience in MS Access and the Financial Services industry with focus on the payments industry will be advantageous; • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written); • Own reliable transport; • Stable internet connection required, fibre connection advantageous [to handle queries remotely from home during after hours support].
