Responsibilities will include: *maintaining & optimising automation hard- and software to maximise throughputs and quality *ensure staff compliance to productivity *improving overall equipment efficiency *ensuring effective utilisation of cooling- and de-greening space *oversee timely maintenance of machines *identifying & optimising data processes (paperless environment) *systems integration & process improvement *real-time problem solving *supporting operational decision making based on relevant data analysis, using latest technology *optimising of product quality and productivity *all other tasks related to the role. Essential qualifications, skills, and experience: • Degree in Engineering, Production or Manufacturing; • Experience in a similar role in a packhouse environment with exposure to defect-sorting technology advantageous; • Excellent communication skills (English & Afrikaans); • Driver's license.
