A relevant qualification and a minimum of 8 years’ practical experience in a similar managerial position, and computer literacy are pre requisites. The candidate must be bilingual, isiXhosa as a third language will count in the applicants favour. The successful candidate will be required to work closely with the Winemaker and will report directly to the Managing Director. Whilst taking responsibility for the overall management function, further responsibilities will include: • vineyard planting • fertilising • disease and pest control • pruning programmes • weed control • personnel m anagement • general administration • maintenance management and all other tasks related to the position.
