TopFruit, a leading intellectual property and varietal management company in the deciduous fruit industry, is looking to appoint a dynamic Commercial Manager to join their team in Simondium, Paarl (Western Cape). The ideal candidate must have excellent business acumen, and the ability to identify and develop commercial opportunities. The successful candidate will report to the COO and form part of the senior management team. Critical focus areas will include: *Account management of selected existing pome fruit trademarks and varieties *Commercial management of stone fruit, including management of breeders-, growers-, and exporter- relationships and accounts *Building and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders within the deciduous fruit industry to the commercial benefit of TopFruit *All other functions related to the position. Essential qualifications, skills, and experience: • BSc Agric with Horticulture & Agricultural Economics/BCom (Agribusiness Management) with pome and stone fruit background, OR applicable commercial experience; • At least 5-8 years' experience in a similar role; • Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English); • Valid driver's license and own reliable transport; • Willingness to travel locally and internationally.
