Our client, a prestigious wine farm, has the above position available for a Stock Controller based at their warehouse situated in Klapmuts (Western Cape). The ideal candidate is a detail-driven individual with excellent administrative skills and the ability to coordinate and proactively control stock movements. The successful candidate will report to the Assistant Warehouse Manager and be responsible for: *scheduling and leading stock take activities *undertaking periodic stock verifications *reporting on stock variations *coordinating stock receiving and allocate where stock is stored *recordkeeping and reporting related to stock control *be able to operate a forklift when needed *all other tasks related to the position. Essential qualifications, skills, and experience: • Matric required, a relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous; • Minimum 2 years' relevant stock management experience, ideally in a warehouse environment; • Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English); • Good knowledge of ERP systems & strong computer skills (MS Office, specifically Excel); • Forklift license/willingness to attend forklift license training; • Own reliable transport.
